Priya Kodeeswaran
Founder and Chief Investment Officer
Priya Kodeeswaran is Founder and CIO at Katamaran Capital. With 27 years of experience in investment management, Priya has managed numerous portfolio management mandates and has led several separate funds focusing on long/short equity. Priya's most recent role was at Millennium, preceded by Man GLG. At Man GLG, he successfully led two strategies from 2016 to March 2020, managing assets of over $1 billion and raising over $500 million in capital. Prior to that, he was at RWC Partners where for six years he ran a low net global L/S team with the same strategy and focus. The strategy was initially developed when he was a Partner at Cheyne Capital and ran a successful L/S global TMT mandate for 6 years. Prior to this, Priya worked at Avocet Capital, which he co-founded. In the early part of his career, he was a long only Portfolio Manager at Morgan Grenfell from 1997 to 2000. He joined them from Europa Capital Management in Prague. Priya holds a bachelor's degree from McMaster University, and is a CFA charterholder.
Zhancheng Li
Co-Founder and Head of Research
Zhancheng Li is Co-founder and Head of Research at Katamaran Capital LLP. Zhancheng and Priya Kodeeswaran have been working together since 2018, at both Man GLG and Millennium investing primarily in TMT and Consumer Discretionary. Zhancheng Li joined Man GLG in January 2018 from Oceanwood Capital Partners, where he worked as a senior equity analyst for five years. Prior to this, he was a senior equity analyst in Occitan Capital and covered Global TMT. Between 2010 and 2012, Zhancheng worked as an equity research analyst in Berenberg Bank, covering the global technology sector. Before that, he spent three years in KPMG. Zhancheng holds a Master's degree from LSE. He is a fellow chartered accountant and a CFA charterholder.
