By allocating to different investment strategies with exposure to a variety of asset classes, we strive to build a well-balanced portfolio that generates a sustainable return over time, independent of market direction. At the same time, thanks to our partnership model, we have a unique opportunity as colleagues, and not only investors, to co-operate to continuously improve our responsible investment practices. Hence, we aim for long-term sustainable alpha in a double sense.
Responsible investments
All investment teams in the group integrate ESG in investment decisions by considering how sustainability risks and opportunities may affect returns, and by considering potential principal adverse impacts investment decisions may have on sustainability factors. The purpose is to make well-informed investment decisions and generate returns in a responsible way.

By collaborating with other alternative investment managers, capital owners, and policy makers, we can develop best practice guidelines in different areas, such as responsible investment, risk management and reporting. Brummer & Partners was one of the initiators and founders of the SBAI and we are also signatories to the PRI and members of AIMA.
