Brummer & Partners AB is the parent company of the Brummer & Partners group and is based in Stockholm. The group also includes subsidiaries and associated companies primarily in Sweden, Great Britain and the United States. The largest wholly-owned subsidiary is B&P Fund Services, providing infrastructure and administrative services to investment teams.

The parent company is owned by partners who also hold leading positions.

Portfolio Manager, Brummer Multi-Strategy

Patrik Brummer is the Founding Partner of Brummer & Partners. Brummer Multi-Strategy was launched in 2002, and since then, Patrik has been its Portfolio Manager. Prior to founding Brummer, Patrik held, from 1973 to 1995, several senior positions at Alfred Berg Fondkommission AB, including Group Chief Executive of the Alfred Berg Group. Patrik is co-owner and chairman of the board of Brummer & Partners AB.

Peter Thelin

Peter Thelin

Strategic Advisor

Peter Thelin is co-founding partner of Brummer & Partners, a Partner and Strategic Advisor. From 1996 to 2011 Peter held different positions at the associated company Zenit Asset Management, amongst other as Chief Portfolio Manager of the hedge fund Zenit. In 2012-2020 Peter was the managing director of the associated company Carve Capital. Before joining Brummer & Partners Peter was president of S-E-Banken Fonder and S-E-Banken Allemansfonder with responsibility for SEB’s institutional asset management and portfolio management activities. Prior to that he was Head of the Mutual Fund and Asset Management at Alfred Berg. Peter is a graduate of the Stockholm School of Economics.

Kerim Celebi

Portfolio Manager, Brummer Multi-Strategy

Kerim Celebi is a Portfolio Manager within Brummer Multi-Strategy and a Partner at Brummer. He is a member of the Central Portfolio Management Team, which is responsible for the oversight and development of Brummer Multi-Strategy, including portfolio construction, risk allocation, manager selection and the continuous evolution of the programme. Since joining Brummer in 2014, Kerim has played a central role in the development of the firm’s investment platform, including its risk management architecture, analytical infrastructure, and research capabilities. He has been instrumental in shaping the overall portfolio construction framework and governance of the multi-strategy portfolio. His responsibilities include manager selection, strategic oversight and refinement of existing strategies, portfolio construction, and optimising capital and risk allocation across the underlying strategies. Kerim previously served as Head of Research and holds an MSc in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Wilhelm Kleman

Portfolio Manager, Brummer Multi-Strategy

Wilhelm Kleman is a Portfolio Manager within Brummer Multi-Strategy and a Partner at Brummer. He is a member of the Central Portfolio Management Team, which is responsible for the oversight and development of Brummer Multi-Strategy, including portfolio construction, risk allocation, manager selection and the continuous evolution of the programme. Wilhelm’s responsibilities include portfolio architecture, optimising capital deployment, and assessing investment teams across strategy exposures. Since joining Brummer in 2023, Wilhelm has played a key role in the strategic direction of the firm and refinement of the portfolio’s structural framework. Prior to joining Brummer, Wilhelm was a Senior Advisor at SEB Investment Management and previously a Portfolio Manager focused on financials within long/short equity at Citadel. He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Adrian Brummer is a Portfolio Manager within Brummer Multi-Strategy and a Partner at Brummer. He is a member of the Central Portfolio Management Team, which is responsible for the oversight and development of Brummer Multi-Strategy, including portfolio construction, risk allocation, manager selection and the continuous evolution of the programme. His responsibilities include talent selection and development, portfolio composition, and the deployment of capital across underlying strategies. Since joining Brummer in 2023, Adrian has played a key role in the strategic direction of the firm, the programme’s investment framework and talent cultivation. Prior to joining Brummer, Adrian led independent investment initiatives and held positions as Portfolio Manager, Partner and Board Member at the hedge fund Alcur. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration & Economics, specialising in Finance, from Stockholm University.

Markus Wiklund

Managing Director, Brummer Multi-Strategy

Markus Wiklund is the Managing Director of Brummer Multi-Strategy AB and a Partner at Brummer. Since joining Brummer in 1997, Markus has held various senior positions in the group, most recently as Deputy Managing Director and before that as Head of Research of Brummer Multi-Strategy AB. Prior to that, he headed the risk and valuation team at B & P Fund Services AB. Markus has an MSc in Engineering Physics from the Royal Institute of Technology and an MSc in Economics and Business from Stockholm School of Economics.

Carl-Johan Brodowsky

Carl-Johan Brodowsky

Head of Investor Relations

Carl-Johan Brodowsky is Head of Investor Relations and a Partner at Brummer. Since 2021, he has led Brummer’s global investor relations effort, shaping investor strategy and institutional coverage across the firm’s international investor base, while advancing its reach and relationships in key markets. Carl-Johan first joined Brummer & Partners in 2013, working in Investor Relations until 2017. Before rejoining Brummer, he was Partner and Head of Investor Relations & Business Development at Keel Capital, a Stockholm-based alternative investment manager. Earlier in his career, he held institutional sales and investor relations roles at Alfred Berg and HSBC Asset Management. He studied finance at master’s level at Stockholm University.

Henrik Paulsson

CEO Brummer & Partners and Managing Director B & P Fund Services

Since 2022, Henrik Paulsson is CEO of Brummer & Partners, and since 2011, he is Managing Director of B & P Fund Services. Henrik is also a Partner at Brummer. He started his career at B & P Fund Services in 2010 as Chief Risk Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Prior to that he held several management positions at Nasdaq OMX, such as Head of the Business Area “Nordic Derivatives” and Head of Business Development in London. During his time at Nasdaq OMX, he was on the board of directors for several stock exchanges and clearing houses, both in and outside of Europe. Henrik holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Laws, LLM from Uppsala University, Sweden.

Joakim Schaaf

Head of Legal & Compliance

Joakim Schaaf is Head of Legal and Compliance since 2009 and a Partner at Brummer. Prior to joining Brummer & Partners, Joakim worked at the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority as Head of the Legal Department and General Counsel. Between 2000 and 2003, Joakim worked as Legal Adviser at the Swedish Ministry of Finance, focusing on financial regulation in general and specifically the fund legislation. Joakim graduated from Stockholm University in 1994 with a Master of Laws, LLM.

Johanna Ahlgren

Executive Director & General Counsel

Johanna Ahlgren is Executive Director & General Counsel at Brummer, and a Partner at Brummer. Since 2009, Johanna has held various senior positions within the Brummer group. She started as legal counsel at B&P Fund Services AB and then began working at Nektar Asset Management AB in 2014, first as Legal Counsel and later also as Deputy CEO. Before starting her role as Executive Director & General Counsel at Brummer & Partners AB, she was CEO at Frost Asset Management AB from 2019-2022. Johanna began her professional career as an Associate at Gernandt & Danielsson law firm in 2007 after graduating with a Master of Laws, LLM from Uppsala University in 2007.
