Change in Brummer Multi-Strategy
Brummer Multi-Strategy’s (BMS) portfolio managers continuously evaluate the funds that BMS is invested in while working on identifying and evaluating new investment teams. The portfolio managers have decided to redeem BMS’s entire investment in the fund Bodenholm One by April 15, 2020.
Bodenholm is a long/short equity hedge fund with a focus on fundamental analysis. BMS has been invested in Bodenholm since its launch in September 2015.
Bodenholm’s average annual return since inception is just over 4 per cent (as of February 2020) with a low correlation to stock markets.
“We have had discussions with Bodenholm regarding the fund’s investment and risk management for some time, and the CIO and parts of the investment team have announced their intention to resign from Bodenholm. We will redeem BMS’s entire investment in Bodenholm One on April 15, 2020", says Mikael Spångberg, CEO and portfolio manager of BMS.
After the redemption in Bodenholm, BMS will be invested in nine funds: AlphaCrest, Arete, Black-and-White, Florin Court, Frost, Lynx, Lynx Constellation, Manticore and Observatory.
